Gold Cup
As a motorsport enthusiast, I’ve wanted to attend an event at Oulton Park for a while now.
For one reason or another, it just never happened...until now.
This year, I finally made it to the Gold Cup… and wow! I had the greatest time.
Here is how it unfolded.
I'll start off by showing you two vintage cars I really liked.
1934 Bentley
One of the things I really loved about the day was how open and accessible everything was.
I could walk right into the garages, get up close to the cars, and chat with the teams, then later, see those same cars flying around the track.
It made the whole experience feel so wholesome.
Here are two sets of photos in the garage and then out on the track.
1976 Alfa Romeo GT Junior
1965 AC Cobra
One of the things that really stuck with me was how much of a family affair it all felt.In the paddock, I saw families working together, pushing cars to the queue, getting hands dirty, sharing quiet moments between races. Here are a few moments that captured that feeling.
This was a tough balance. I tried to both be in the moment and capture some moments.
